wickedinkpot@gmail.comI am a PC gamer by and large though I now own a Wii, whatever god may exist have mercy on my soul. I play whatever games interest me. I would not describe myself as hardcore by any stretch of the imagination as my interest in games tends to be of the visual and storyline kind. It's a new medium in which I can tell a story, not so much a game in and of itself. Hence I am an RPG nerd.
I write more often than I game (debatable lately, however, god damn you World of Warcraft and your seductive lure). I write novels of the fantasy and sci-fi persuasion. It's kind of hard sci-fi? Hard in the anthropological and cultural sense and not so much in it being fucking rocket science or something. But then what sci-fi I do write is steampunk, so. I don't really believe there is a true genre-divide between sci-fi and fantasy, and I happily take up the gauntlet of writing for people who have been wanting a little magic like their science or vice versa.
If I am not doing either of those things, I am locked in epic battle inside of the innards of a mySQL database, trying to get my fucking blog to work. Or modding forums on my local computer for shits and giggles. Let me put it this way, I got myself some Creative Suite 4 for Christmas? It was like a child getting let loose in Toys R Us and being told he could play with whatever he wanted.
Yeah that about sums me up in general.
